AWG is committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity not only within our own network, but across the business world at large.

Already, AWG has one of the most in-depth, extensive, and industry-leading diversity and inclusion policies – which can be found on our parent site and on all of our collaborative brand’s platforms – and we have always pledged to encourage our peers to follow suit.

Now, AWG is going one step further.

Today we are announcing our intent to boost diversity within our hiring policy. Effective immediately, we pledge to ensure that at least 50% of our employees will be from BAME (Black, Asian and minority ethnic) backgrounds going forward.

AWG feels this is an essential move that will create further opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds to build their careers with us, and to encourage the wider community to take similar action.

Ayaan Rosa-Brown, AWG’s Director of Diversity, said:

“This pledge is the very definition of walking the walk. We passionately support those from historically marginalised and minority backgrounds being lifted up and presented with as many opportunities as possible. The more doors we can open, the better impact we will have.”

She continued,

“We have proven time and time again that we aren’t just willing to set impeccable standards, but will also hold ourselves to account. All of our departments are regularly audited by our internal teams to make sure everyone is keeping to the policies we have laid out. This pledge will be no different.”

AWG maintains its belief that all companies have a profound responsibility to promote and facilitate the widespread acceptance of programs and schemes designed to increase diversity in the workplace.

We will continue to lead the way.
